Angelo's Pizza Downers Grove: Authentic Chicago-style Pizza & Delicious Pasta

I specifically went to downers grove from Oak lawn to grab a pizza from Angelo’s after hearing how good they are. The whole experience was so genuine and pleasant. I met Angelo himself and was treated with so much appreciation and care!! Angelo was so thrilled and appreciative that I came all the way from Oak Lawn let’s just say he really looked out for me NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THE PIZZA!! I have lived in Chicago all my life and I know good quality pizza and Angelo’s hands down has one of the best pizza places I have been to in my 34yrs of living If your ever in downers grove OR NOT (It’s worth the drive) make sure u stop by Angelo’s and don’t make the mistake of getting a mini, grab the biggest one they have because once u start eating it u can’t stop

Angelo’s Pizza in Downers Grove is hands down one of Chicago’s finest. The flavor is next level, the quality is consistently top-tier, and the service is always on point. The staff is genuinely courteous, welcoming, and professional, which makes the whole experience even better. Every visit feels effortless and satisfying. If you’re serious about great pizza and great vibes, this place is a must-try. Absolute win.

First visit to Angelo's Pizza, got a Chicago thin with pepperoni, hamburger, pepperoncini, and garlic...best pizza I've ever had, and I've been to numerous Chicagoland and east coast parlors. This will now be a mandatory stop each time I visit Chicago, and the free parking garage with ample space virtually next door makes this an easy choice. Thank you to the hard working pizza crafters and friendly staff. Wow. Amazing! Stop in and say hello to Lou and crew!

AWESOME THIN CRUST PIZZA!! the pizza is great! the owners are so nice & so are their employees. we had a big party there, they were wonderful. we drive over 10 miles to have this pizza, and it's worth it. ENJOY!

I’ve heard about this place through FB and Reddit pizza discussion forums. Just FYI, they do charge you 4% if you use a debit or credit card. I know it’s weird especially since everything is digital these days. I placed a carry out order through the phone. I didn’t experience any rudeness and this was on a Thursday night. I think there is only one guy answering phones and also serving customers in person. The place can be found in downtown Downers Grove, it’s literally next to the free parking garage. The dining room is small but it has a good amount of seating (13-15 tables inside). When it’s warmer they do have outside seating. I ordered a medium meat special (cheese, sausage, pepperoni, hamburger, and bacon) and cheesy garlic bread. Food was hot when I picked it up. Medium is a good size if you’re sharing between 2 people. Pizza is tavern style and very crispy. So much flavor in each bite. The cheesy garlic bread was wonderfully done. They gave me two big pieces. Cheese doesn’t easily fall off. Unfortunately, I’ll have to take off a star due to the 4% charge for debit/credit use.

Hands down! The best thin, crispy pizza I’ve ever had. The staff is great and the owner always come out to greet and check in to see how the food is. Try any of their appetizers, can’t go wrong.

Pizza was really good and regular thin crust is so crispy! One of the best pizza spots in the west suburbs. Price is Great!
